Recent experiments (by us) have shown that the Yarra river is safe for on water
activities, and in addition - IT IS FUN!!!
Nowhinge (age group: mid 20s and 30s) is keen to make the most of the tail end
of summer!
So our next activity will be on Sunday the 20th of March at 1pm, meeting in
front of the boat hire window in Studly Park boat house. We will hire canoes/kayaks/
raw boats, for either half an hour or an hour. Half-hour canoe/kayak hire is
about $10, and rowboat hire (up to 5 people) is about $20. After our leisurely
rowing, we will have to make sure we replenish with our traditional coffee/
tea/ snack.
This activity will take place weather permitting, otherwise we will do something indoors (same meeting place).
