Dear nowhingers (age group: mid 20s to late 30s),
Instead of spending another evening out in the cold, paying big $ to large cinemas
and bistros, we will be having a Saturday Night In.
Money raised will be donated to Jewish Aid’s “Saturday Night In”
Appeal
In the comfort of a Caulfield living room we will have a pizza dinner with
dessert, followed by a DVD of the classic film: “A Gentleman’s
Agreement”.
This classic film is about a reporter who pretends to be Jewish in order
to cover a story on anti-Semitism, and personally discovers the true depths
of bigotry and hatred. Directed by Elia Kazan and starring Gregory Peck. Won
3 Academy Awards.
Time: 7pm for dinner, film at 8.30 pm (note altered starting time).
Cost: $15 (note altered cost)
Cost includes pizza, salad, dessert, soft drinks, popcorn, other movie munchies and donation to Jewish Aid. BYO alcohol.
