Rabbi Morgan came to work for Temple Beth Israel in September 1997 after a varied career which included several years as- Lecturer in Religious Studies at the University of Bristol, England, and 14 years as Rabbi of North-West Surrey Synagogue, south of London.

Rabbi Morgan is a graduate of Leo Baeck College London where he was made a Fellow in 1997 for his services to teaching. He is also Honorary Associate Rabbi of Sim Shalom Community, Budapest, Hungary.
