"The Jewish Students' Society recognises that the University of Melbourne Student Union Inc. (UMSUI) or a similarly named organisation is to be formed to replace the Melbourne University Student Union Inc., in liquidation. The members of the Jewish Students Society instruct the incoming office bearers of 2005- 2006 to apply for affiliation to the UMSUI immediately applications are invited and to take all necessary steps to pursue such affiliation."
