Learn about the Jewish state through Jewish customs!
Eat falafel, say a “lechaim” (over a shot of vodka) and participate in a traditional Fabrengen or Kum Sits…
Decorate kippot (or other things…) with puff paint and put your good deeds in our “mitzvah tank”!
Tuesday
JERUSALEM DAY
No need to fly 21hrs, transit 4 times or spend 8 consecutive hours browsing the duty free departments of international airports, we’re bringing the Kotel to you!
See the wall of the Campus Centre opposite the Menzies building transformed into the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Just like in Israel, come and put notes on the wall and get a red, evil eye bracelet.
There’ll also be bagels and dips, information about Hebrew University …and a JUMPING CASTLE!
Wednesday
NEGEV DAY
The majority of Israel is desert! To get a feel for this layback and sandy environment, come and sit in our sandpit, lie on a beanbag and have a Goldstar beer.
For those who are bit more active…
there’ll also be a DJ playing Israeli Trance!
