Israel Program Information Session

Monday 1 & Tuesday 2 August 2005

Time: 8pm
Venue: Room K3.09 at Monash University, Caulfield campus

The 2005/06 AUJS Israel Programs package will be the largest ever, with close to 400 students expected to make the journey on a variety of exciting programs, including the classics – AUJS Academy (6 weeks), Achshav (3 weeks), Poland Heritage Tour and the Leadership Development Program; and two brand new exciting programs – AUJS Atid and an additional European Side Trip for Academy and Achshav participants.

AUJS Atid is the perfect opportunity to experience living in Israel while on an organised program. For five months, participants will partake in a variety of inspirational educational, vocational, political and leadership seminars, tiyulim and sight-seeing. Participants will also have a variety of month-long program options to choose from, including Magen David Adom, Kibbutz, Yeshiva, Ulpan and Volunteering at Ramat Hadassah Youth Village. Major highlights include extended mifgashim (encounters) with Israeli youth and living with Israeli families, Tel Aviv’s famous nightlife, ‘desert survival’ and a European Side Trip.
